(If you're looking for general advice on improving your Logic GamesLogical Reasoning, or Reading Comprehension abilities, please note that I've already written plenty of blog posts on these topics. I also have plenty of advice in my LSAT study schedules.)

  1. Hi,
I'll be taking the LSAT for the second time (first time in September) and my average score is between 167-168 and my highest has been 173. I know it's crunch time with the exam under two weeks away, but I desperately want to consistently score in the 170s. Unfortunately, I'm in burnout mode and have been yesterday and today and scored way below my average (163) on a PT this morning. My biggest issue has been LR where I've been missing 3-4 more than I normally do and I've also been pressed on RC timing.

Do you have any tips for me to overcome this and keep drilling? I'd really appreciate it.

    2. Hey anon,
I took a break from PTs and just did some drills yesterday and today. It's definitely helped me build on consistency. Today, I've focused solely on RC timing to maximize my reading comp and made sure I was reading under 4 minutes while comprehending. I would take a break from PTs and focus on particular problem areas! :)

  2. Hi,
My biggest difficulty so far has been doing the logic games under the exam time limit, even though I don't find them particularly difficult. What tends to be the most important thing(s) for getting through the section in time, but without having to sacrifice too much precision?

    1. I was/am kind of in the same boat. Have you tried 7Sage's foolproof method? They basically have you do games you've struggled with over and over again until you memorize the inferences and therefore can reproduce them more quickly when a similar game comes up. I did it for a couple of days and it helped tremendously- I can finish most LG sections in time now unless it's an unusually terrible game (PT 68 I'm looking at you- I went into game 4 with 15 minutes on the clock and all the other games solved pat and still had three questions to go when time buzzed -_-).

    2. No I haven't tried that, I'll look it up and see if it helps. Thanks very much for the tip Ariel! :)
