Next month's LSAT class in NYC

Got a question from Colin earlier today.

He's a student in my Live Online LSAT Master Class, and he was asking about the Live Weekend LSAT Master Class I'm running in NYC next month (early bird ends Tuesday.)

He wrote:

This sounds like a really great opportunity. Thanks for letting me know. I’ll definitely make a decision soon

Are you able to share what the agenda might look like or how it is set up?

I get it. While I've shared a lot about the class already, I didn't share the exact breakdown of what we'll be doing.

It'll be an intensive LSAT weekend - not for the faint of heart - 5 hours straight on both Saturday and Sunday.

And there will be pre-class assignments AND post-class assignments.

(There will also be special pre-class Q&A session for those who join before the early bird deadline.)

But now I'm sharing with you the draft agenda.

Live Weekend LSAT Master Class in NYC

Saturday - 12-5PM:

12-1PM How to efficiently review LSAT problems (with student examples)

1-2:30PM Review of difficult Logical Reasoning from PrepTests (PTs) 62-66

2:30PM-3:30PM Recent LSAT policy changes + Q&A

3:30-5PM Review of difficult Logic Games + Reading Comp from PTs 62-66

Sunday - 12-5PM:
12-1PM How top-performers prep in the lead-up to Test Day

1-2:30PM Review of difficult Logical Reasoning from PTs 67-71

2:30-3:30PM How to prep for the Digital LSAT + Q&A
3:30-5PM Review of difficult Logic Games + Reading Comp from PTs 67-71

This is just the latest version.

The one I sent to Colin earlier today was a little different.

And it will continue to evolve based on the needs of the students in the class (including you, if you join).

So take this as a jumping-off point. This class will be different from anything I've ever done before - like my coaching, this is not a lecture. There's no script.

Instead, we'll focus on YOUR questions and the way you think about the LSAT problems. Together, we'll discuss the topics that you most need to cover in each section as we co-create this class.

This class is by application only.
Steve

P.S. The early bird special for this class ends on Tuesday. Apply now.

P.P.S. If you're not able to join us in NYC, that's ok - I'm giving you one final chance to join the Live Online LSAT Master Class. The deadline to join is TONIGHT - Friday at 11:59PM Pacific -- no exceptions. And I won't be opening the doors again anytime soon.

Live Online LSAT Master Class

The Live Online LSAT Master Class has been an absolute blast so far.

It's been great to have the chance to work with a few of you in a small group setting.

(In case you were wondering what it's like, I released the first class session for free on the LSAT Unplugged YouTube channel and podcast.)

Meet a few of the students who've already joined, and let them tell you why in their own words:

Like Brittany:

Like Daphney:

Like Colin:
And like Liz:

I previously closed the doors to new students in order to focus and get the ball rolling, but we're now looking to add a few more highly-motivated students to the mix.

So I've temporarily re-opened the doors, but they're closing again tomorrow at 11:59PM Pacific.

LSAT Logic Games and pizza in NYC

I'm teaching a free LSAT Logic Games class in Downtown Brooklyn for LSAT Unplugged students this Tuesday at 7:00pm.

It's your chance to meet me and connect with like-minded students. Plus, we'll eat pizza together.

Some of you may have heard of the famous "original Ray's Pizza."

I'm not getting us that. I'm getting us Not Ray's:
Not Ray's Pizza

No big agenda, but I'll walk through a Logic Game or two and do some Q&A. Whatever y'all would find most useful.

(And I'll try to record it for those living outside NYC without access to our delicious pizza.)

I'm limiting this to around 10 people, so fill out the ultra-short form below. If I can get you in, I'll email you within the next 72 hours with info on Tuesday's event.

P.S. If you don't hear from me, don't worry. I'll do more of these.

LSAT scholarship applications close TONIGHT

I'm on a mission to improve the quality of LSAT prep materials and bring down the price at the same time.

It's why I started LSAT Blog. It's why I written over 1,000 articles on every aspect of LSAT prep.

It's why I release new episodes on the LSAT Unplugged podcast every day. And why I publish new LSAT Unplugged YouTube videos multiple times each day.

And it's why I'm giving away over 1 million dollars in LSAT prep scholarships for my LSAT course packages*
But not everyone qualifies for those.

And I wanted to do something a little more FUN -

So I'm announcing a few NEW LSAT scholarship opportunities and giveaways for those in need --
You could win:

Prize #1 - A slot to attend a session of my next Live Online LSAT Master Class.

(BrittanyColinDaphney, and Liz have all shared their reasons for joining the Live Online LSAT Master Class if you want to learn more.)

Prize #2 - A full scholarship for one of my LSAT course packages

Price #3 - A full set of LSAT books shipped to you anywhere in the continental U.S. (one of my former students is donating this)

I'm giving away at least 3 scholarships for both the Master Class session and course packages, so if you apply, you have a decent chance of winning.

And I'm making this as easy as possible. I'm not even making you write some contrived essay the way people who give away scholarships normally do.

How to apply:
Send me a short video (maximum 3 minutes) sharing your reasons for wanting to go to law school. You can post it on YouTube and email me the link, or you can upload it to DropBox or Google Drive and share directly.

I'll publish the best submissions on the LSAT Unplugged YouTube channel and podcast.

The deadline to apply is TONIGHT, Monday, 4/15 at 11:59PM Pacific -- no exceptions.

Looking forward to hearing your law school stories,

-Steve

P.S. Here are two of my favorite submissions so far:

Shinelle shares why she wants to go to law school

And Leslie, who wants to finish what she started:

P.P.S.
*I already give automatic 50% scholarships on my LSAT course packages to anyone who submits verification of their LSAC fee waiver approval. I also give a 50% scholarship for all active and former U.S. military personnel. And I ALSO give a 10% scholarship for anyone who pledges to devote their career to public interest work. Reach out if you qualify.

Giving away LSAT scholarships - applications close Monday

Law school is expensive. And LSAT prep is expensive.

I get that. I was tempted to skimp on buying LSAT practice books back when I was a poor college student.

It took several months of banging my head against the wall before I realized I needed to get my hands on every LSAT resource possible in order to master the LSAT.

Skimping on LSAT books would've been a HUGE mistake.

Think about it -

just a few more points on your LSAT score can get you thousands of dollars in scholarship money.

Or get you into a better law school.

The ROI on that investment is HUGE!

It turns out that if you're going to law school, LSAT prep is one of the best investments you can make in yourself.

And I don't want financial need to be a barrier for ANYONE getting the best LSAT prep possible.

So I'm announcing a few LSAT scholarship opportunities and giveaways for those in need:

You could win:

1. A slot to attend a session of my next Live Online LSAT Master Class

2. A full scholarship for one of my LSAT course packages

3. A full set of LSAT books shipped to you anywhere in the continental U.S. (one of my former students is donating this)

I'll give away at least 3 scholarships for both the Master Class session and course packages, so if you apply, you have a decent chance of winning.

And I'm making this as easy as possible. I'm not even making you write some contrived essay the way people who give away scholarships normally do.

The deadline to apply is this Monday, 4/15 at 11:59PM Pacific -- no exceptions.

Looking forward to hearing your law school stories,

P.S. Again, the deadline to apply is this Monday, 4/15 at 11:59PM Pacific.

P.P.S. I've also got some ongoing scholarship opportunities - I'm committed to helping everyone get into the law school of their dreams, regardless of financial background.

So, if you can't afford the LSAT courses, keep in mind that I give automatic 50% scholarships to anyone who submits verification of their LSAC fee waiver approval.

This is an ongoing opportunity - no deadline, and no plans to discontinue it.

I recommend contacting LSAC as soon as possible to begin the fee waiver process, since it can take several weeks to be approved. (Please note that "conditional approval" doesn't count.) After you're approved, just forward me LSAC's verification of your fee waiver approval, and let me know which course package you'd like. Once you take care of the 50% payment on the course package of your choice, I'll send you everything it contains.

I also offer a 50% scholarship for all active and former U.S. military personnel. In order to receive your scholarship, please email me a scan or photo of your valid military, U.S. Government ID, or other documentation.

And I also give a 10% scholarship for anyone who pledges to devote their career to public interest work. In order to get this one, just email me a sentence or two sharing what you plan to do after graduation. (I believe most people are good and won't try to take advantage.)

These scholarships are valid on all LSAT courses.

Live Online LSAT Master Class - doors closing in a few hours

My Live Online LSAT Master Class closes tonight -- at 11:59pm Pacific.

I've been thinking a lot about the idea of risk lately.

It's easy to avoid taking risks.

But if we really ask ourselves "What's the worst-case scenario if things don't go my way?" the answer is often "I just don't want to feel like a failure."

Look, studying for the LSAT can be discouraging. I know - I've been there.

But I also know that the decision you make today could change the rest of your life. It could lead to a total mindset makeover that has a lasting impact into law school and beyond.

And to make that kind of decision, there are a few things you need first.

First, we need proof - proof this class will work for you, not just natural-born "geniuses" and nerds.

My methods work for students from all walks of life. You can read their stories in many of the LSAT Diaries and see some unsolicited student feedback here.

I've even shown you a photo from a real live meetup full of actual students at my office in New York. This isn't a weird internet thing from a stranger. It's real people like you and me working through LSAT problems together. I've even shared LSAT coaching sessions and taught the first session of the Live Online LSAT Master Class for free.

The second thing we need is to know that we're not alone. As soon as you join, you'll get access to a community of like-minded students (like Daphney and Liz who've both shared their reasons for joining in short videos).

And you'll get special access to every additional class and webinar I teach over the next few months. (The ones I don't publicize to the entire list.)

Some students are in the 130s and 140s. Others are already in the 160s. And everywhere in-between. They'll be offering you advice, supporting you, and keeping you accountable so you get the most out of the program.

And I'll be there, too.

I'll give you the exact step-by-step process you need to master the LSAT. The same process I used to bring my score from the low 150s to a 175 on Test Day.

You don't need prior LSAT experience. You don't need to already "get it." I'll show you how to take the aptitude you already have - your LSAT potential - and bring it to life.
"It was a huge gift to have your support and guidance while studying for the LSAT."

The third thing we need is the guarantee. If you're the worst student ever (you're not), what happens in the worst-case scenario? You won't be out on the street.

But if you put in the work and decide it's not for you, that's fine. Just email me, and I'll give you a full refund. No risk.

But you do have to be willing to invest in yourself. If you decide that after seeing over 10 years of my LSAT material, after reading my reviews, and seeing all the videos I've shown you...

..If you decide there’s even a tiny chance I could help increase your LSAT score, don’t you owe it to yourself to try?

I'd love to help you. My entire team is standing by, waiting to welcome you inside. You can succeed on the LSAT. I can show you how.

My Live Online LSAT Master Class closes tonight at 11:59pm.

See you inside.

Steve

P.S. In my last email, I shared with you a conversation with LSAT student Liz on why she joined the Master Class. Now I'm sharing Daphney's:

Daphney on why she joined the Live Online LSAT Master Class

Live Online LSAT Master Class Closing TONIGHT

Quick reminder -- I’m closing down access to my new Live Online LSAT Master Class TONIGHT at 11:59pm Pacific.

Yes, this is happening. And, yes, I've been sending a lot of emails about this.

That's because I'm excited about it. And I don't feel bad about letting you know. After today, you won't hear about this for a while.

In just 2 months, you'll improve your LSAT understanding more than you have over the past year.

You've already seen that I love to teach. And you've seen the results my students get. No tricks. I'm not saying it's easy, but it works.

I've already shown you what it looks like to work with me:
LSAT Coaching Sessions with Steve Schwartz

I'm doing something no one else in LSAT prep does - showing you EXACTLY what happens behind the scenes in my LSAT coaching.

Now, I'm giving you the unique opportunity to work with me personally for a fraction of the price of one-on-one coaching.

I don't know if I'll ever run a program like this again.

Liz had the opportunity to attend my LSAT meetup in NYC last month, and she shared why she chose to join the Live Online LSAT Master Class:
Liz Shares Why She Joined the Live Online LSAT Master Class

I went through the pain of learning how to study for the LSAT myself. Which books to use...which techniques work (and - more importantly - which don't)......how to review...and even how to keep momentum going when it gets tough. Then I compressed it into 2 months. Down to an actual step-by-step process you can copy and paste.

My Live Online LSAT Master Class closes tonight at 11:59pm. I may never run a class like this again. And as usual, you have nothing to lose by trying it, since it’s backed with my personal guarantee.

P.S. I only choose to create a few premium LSAT courses each year. And I chose to teach this one because getting to work directly one-on-one with a professional LSAT coach can change your mindset - it's that important - and I've compressed my very best material into a quick 10-week course just for you.

P.P.S. Here's exactly what we'll cover in the course:

* LSAT Changes, the Digital LSAT, and Crafting Your LSAT Study Schedule
* LSAT Logic Games (common mistakes and how to avoid them)
* LSAT Logical Reasoning (speed strategy and avoiding "quicksand")
* LSAT Reading Comprehension (proper note-taking and approach)
* How to Take Full-Length Timed PrepTests and Review
* Review of Recent LSAT PrepTest Questions
* Final Week LSAT Test Day Prep + Last-Minute Questions
* Post-Test Discussion and Next Steps: Admissions and Retakes

Since my Live Online LSAT Master Class closes tonight at 11:59pm, I'm only going to send you one more email about it later today. See you inside.
