LSAT Black Friday? Here's The Deal

Black Friday, the biggest shopping day of the year, is just around the corner. Many Americans will spend the day fighting crowds to get deals in shopping malls and department stores.

With all the advertisements bombarding us from Thanksgiving through Christmas, it's easy to lose sight of the bigger issues. There are millions of people far less fortunate than us around the world who have much more to worry about than getting a good deal on electronics.

So, from now through the end of Black Friday, I'm donating all profits from sales of my day-by-day LSAT study plans to the following 3 charities (divided evenly between them).

I've picked these charities based upon their work, as well as their ratings on Charity Navigator, a website that evaluates them based on their financials and transparency.

Founded in 1979, the American Refugee Committee International (ARC) is a humanitarian aid organization that works to help people take back control of their lives. ARC programs in Africa, Asia and Haiti serve nearly 2.5 million people each year, providing health care, clean water, sanitation, shelter, gender-based violence prevention services, microenterprise development, disease prevention services, education, legal services, counseling and repatriation assistance. ARC works with its constituents as partners. Of its 2,000 employees, 95 percent are hired locally.
