UPDATE: Scores were released on Monday, March 2.
Good luck to everyone taking the February 2015 LSAT!
The February 2015 LSAT scores / results are scheduled to be released via email by Tuesday, March 3, 2015, so you'll have to wait for your LSAT score.
However, the scores usually come out a bit earlier than scheduled.
Let's look at the trend over the past several years (click to enlarge):
I've never heard of them coming back on the scheduled release date itself. As you can see, LSAC generally releases February LSAT a few days early, but it's hard to predict exactly when. I'd guess they'll be released 1-3 days early, but the specific date is really anyone's guess. (December 2014 LSAT scores were released 4 days early.)
"But at what time specifically do scores come on score release days? I need to know when to constantly refresh my email / LSAC account!"
In batches over the course of several hours. Likely starting late in the day (Eastern Time).
No one knows how the batches are organized, if at all.
The batches do not seem to be organized in any of these ways:
alphabetical/regional/high-to-low scores/low-to-high scores/test center #, etc.
Wish everyone all the best!

Please feel free to vent and discuss your general thoughts on the exam in the comments, but no specifics about particular questions themselves, please. (LSAC doesn't permit such discussion.)

Any idea which section was the experimental for games and which games were real?
ReplyDeletethe one where there was a a selection matching hybrid with north and south halls was real
DeleteI think the one that discussed oil and water color paintings was definitely the experimental section, as I found that games section far more difficult than the other, more "normal" one.
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteThat was real
ReplyDeleteHow on earth would you know?? For the record, I disagree with Drew on that comment, typically experimentals are a lot, lot harder. Although this is, of course, subjective.
ReplyDeleteThe one thing I've learned is that LSAC is like a paper mafia and operate like a government bureaucracy. Just about every other modern standardized test gives you your score within a day to a week. Not LSAT. My guess is so that you get worried enough to sign up for the next one and dump more money intro prep tests and the prep course industry. Then they threaten you at the end of the test about talking about it. They're the only game in town, and my opinion won't get you into law school, but let's call it out for what it is.
ReplyDeleteMy first recorded LSAT score was a 138. (I kid you not; this score appears in my official LSAC account, unfortunately). The test was sort of a "test-run" for me, after which I decided to move from my hometown/ college town and pursue my dream to live in a big city as a young professional. As a 2008 college graduate, unemployed and with a less-than-impressive GPA, professional opportunities were severely limited; or so it seemed. I did eventually find work in a non-profit organization, but my time there, and resulting experiences did not challenge me the way (I believed) I was capable of being challenged. Fast forward to today, and here I am, gearing up for the June LSAT. While I am grateful that y professional experiences only enhanced my desire and drive to pursue higher educations, I am STILL not scoring where I need to be scoring in order to get into a top law school. Earlier this year, I invested in a reputable test preparation course that lasted from December-February. Since I was not prepared for the February exam like the rest of my classmates, I took a couple weeks off to digest the material/methodology I learned, breathe, and to get ready to tackle test preparation for June. Sometime in mid-to-late January, something “clicked” and I began to understand what kind of responses the test NEEDED from me. It’s that simple; I started to see scores like 20/25 on my drills, 21/27, etc. When I was sufficiently satisfied with scores in the reading comp, LG and LR sections taken one or two at a time, I worked my way up to prep tests and simulated test conditions. My highest diag score has been a 163, and right now I am averaging 155 (as of yesterday evening, when I took the Dec 2010 Prep Test). My reading comp scores are ranging from 12 to 24 (this is ridiculous) and LR is 14 to 18; LG is 12 to 18. I am completely stressed out and feel stuck. I’m not sure how to summon that extra motivation to get me into the mid 160s range (my goal) that I so desperately HAVE to make it to. I’ve considered hiring a tutor, but ambivalent about the expense. I don’t mind cramming for the next couple weeks, but…I can’t help feeling like there is something ELSE I should be doing. Retake my prep course, perhaps? Right now my plan is to take the June test, so as to replace- in a way- the previous disaster (dismal score). During the months leading up to June, I plan to simultaneously work on law school applications and continue studying. As to what my preparation schedule has been like, I would say at least 3 hours a day, 5 days a week has been the norm. I am the type that needs to sit down, let it sink in very deeply, step away and scream or work out, and return with a firm grasp on things. Many times I study for 2 hours, break for lunch, come back for a couple more, and look over LG and LR mistakes at the breakfast table or right before bed. Any suggestions from anyone who knows the feeling of lingering on the 157-161 border-please, please reach out! Right now, I need a miracle. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteBtw, I have friends who say that one should always "appear to be a genius" on law school applications: "6 months of LSAT prep? Are you kidding me, (insert law school admin committee contact here)? I reached my personal best in just a few months!" ...You know what I mean?
My story is very comparable to yours, but I am older. I took last June,139, no studying. I'm hovering in the same spot you are...maybe a tad bit higher. I find when I take breaks, I come back stronger. Let me know what you do.
DeleteSooo... Scores on Friday?
ReplyDeleteWe can only hope. My anxiety is off the charts, and I'm sick of refreshing my email.
ReplyDeleteToday is 4 days early, which is more than the average by a good amount. But it's a Tuesday release which is rare, and from what I hear they prefer not to release over the weekend because they have to stay in case something goes wrong. But they released on a Sunday last year, so who knows....
DeleteFor the December LSAT, they didn't release the scores until 6:30 pm (eastern time). so they could still be released today. I just want to know what I got!
DeleteDo you mean it didn't go grey until 6:30 EST?
DeleteAny update from anyone yet? My icons are still green. Anyone else change yet?
ReplyDeleteNothing yet. I'm still waiting. It's 6:15p est--I'm in Florida.
ReplyDeleteAre they supposed to come out today?
ReplyDeleteAre they supposed to come out today?
ReplyDeleteNot necessarily. They could come out anytime between now and Tuesday, but a lot of people were thinking today was the day because three days early is fairly common. Two days early is also pretty common, so tomorrow looks promising as well.
ReplyDeleteNothing yet here either! 6:10 CST here in Illinois.
ReplyDeleteMy nerves are shot, I just need to know if I stand a chance at my dream school with my new score. PLEASE LSAC STOP BEING MEAN AND JUST RELEASE THE DAMN SCORES ALREADY!!!
ReplyDeleteWhen is this happening?
ReplyDeleteI'm losing my mind.
ReplyDeleteI think my phone and laptop are both going to explode if I refresh anymore....*bangs head against wall*
ReplyDeleteIf nobody has heard by now I assume they will be release tomorrow
ReplyDeletenooooooooooooooooo please not another night
ReplyDeleteSadly, yeah :/ Stay strong, hopefully this is the last night!
DeleteMy icons are still green
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's almost definitely going to be tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI'm actually really surprised. If it is tomorrow, then this is only the third time in LSAT history that the scores weren't released at least two days early.
Bad luck I suppose.
Read this on another page, "Spoke to LSAC, a women told me score would not be released before March 3. She was kind of a bitch and I dont know how credible she is given that the vast majority of the time scores are released a few days before. Anyone else talk to LSAC and have the same or different response?"
ReplyDeleteThis is what always happens when you call the LSAC. They always repeat the official release date because they want to discourage calls for this sort of thing. People called in December and they said it would be out on the official release. It ended up being early.
DeleteAll that said, at this rate, it could very likely end up coming out Tuesday haha.
whyyyy :(
ReplyDeletestill nothing!!! I am somewhat fed up
ReplyDeleteLooking like it will be the official release date which never happens.... Frustrating! Any Canadian folks out there that have received their score!?
ReplyDeleteIt's way too early to count today out yet, but a Tuesday release is looking way more likely than before.
DeleteYes it is still possible but I believe Thursday for sure. Just very odd because they are always released early!
DeleteI mean tomorrow (Tuesday) for sure.
DeleteExcept that one time they were a day late because of bad weather :( soooo hoping they don't do that again.
DeleteThat was during that terrible storm. The weather isn't anything near as bad as that.
DeleteHaha I wouldn't know but glad to hear it! It's snowed twice here all year, and everything shuts down for a few days.
DeleteTheir twitter said they were opening late today because of the weather! Maybe that's why?
ReplyDeleteI live in Philly (LSAC's Headquarters are in the suburbs) and a lot of schools and businesses opened late today because of the snow/ice storm yesterday, so that doesn't surprise me. If its today, its going to be later in the day, but I'm also getting the feeling that its gonna be tomorrow.
DeleteSo a lot of people speculate that they try as much as possible to avoid last day releases because of the strain on their servers. While a lot of us are freaking out, we are actually a fairly small portion of test takers. On the official release date, a lot more people check in, which puts a huge strain on their servers. My guess is, if they can, they will try to release them today.
DeleteFingers crossed!
DeleteI'm truly beginning to hate the color green.
ReplyDeleteAt least I'm taking comfort in knowing I'm not the only one who is constantly refreshing, and also hating the color green!!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, not being alone in my tearing-my-hair-out frustration is definitely making it a little easier. Any score release date that falls on a weekday should be an instant personal day for employed test-takers. I'm worthless right now.
DeleteIs the email release delayed from the actual LSAC account release?
ReplyDeleteIn past years, it's usually pretty simultaneous. But sometimes during peak hours the emails get a little delayed, so the website occasionally is a bit faster.
DeleteThat said, the website has been known to crash on score release too haha. I'll just be checking my email once we go gray haha.
This is my first time, but I've been told by a number of people that it is typically released on your LSAC account before you receive the email. I've just been checking both constantly.
DeleteHaha, thanks for the info! This was my second time taking it...so anxious.
DeleteI'm at work right now...productivity levels are declining exponentially due to the constant checking. I've been setting checkpoints for work and then rewarding myself by checking...this is bad.
Deletehttp://www.refreshthis.com/
ReplyDeleteTry this! So you don't have to keep signing in every so often :)
I really hope scores are released today... the anticipation is killing me.
This is absolutely going to contribute to the site crashing.....
DeleteAlso, good luck to all!!
ReplyDeleteWhat's supposed to turn from green to grey? I don't see anything color-coded on my lsac page?
ReplyDeleteOn your LSAC account, under the LSAT tab is the "LSAT status" choice. Click that, and there are a row of green icons towards the bottom.
DeleteYep! ^^on that page under the heading LSAT documents. The icons should turn grey when the documents and scores become available!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry everyone this is JUST my luck that the one time the scores are released on the actual release happens to be the one LSAT I decide to take. I blame myself and again apologize to everyone else.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking credit. Here I was blaming myself.
DeleteYeah no this 100% would happen to me.
DeleteFor the June 9th test last year, the scores were released around 3:30pm on July 1... #praying
ReplyDeleteTime zone? haha
Deletewhat time zone??
Deleteit's always eastern when lsac is involved
DeleteI just cant't take it anymore! I need to move on with my Life! lol
ReplyDeletelol I'm going to jump out of the window in my office...
DeleteI'm on the first floor
Deletei'm right behind you!
DeleteThank you all for entertaining me and not forcing me to suffer alone
ReplyDeleteI should have just requested next two days off of work! After studying for 5 months now I have to wait!
ReplyDeletethis is torture!
ReplyDeleteI'm slowly dying inside...
ReplyDeleteEspecially after the 3:30 et mark...
Deletewhy after 3:30?
DeleteMan......

ReplyDeleteI didn't get mine either. Serious trolling going on.
DeleteI think they are telling truth, especially since I just got mine :)
DeleteI think they are telling truth, especially since I just got mine :)
DeleteTroll
Deletethey release them in bunches. don't be a bitch and call people trolls just bc you didn't get your score
DeleteYour icons would turn grey even if you hadn't gotten your email, dumbass.
DeleteStill haven't gotten mine and I'm on the East Coast- currently DYING. Anyone else still anxiously waiting???
ReplyDeleteYes!! I'm East Coast time too and keep refreshing.
Deleteyes slowly dying inside
DeleteYES - in FL
DeleteMy bowls are upside down at this moment and I'm freaking out. Esp. now that i have seen that people are getting their scores
DeleteI'm in Los Angeles and the icon colors for mine changed to grey now too and the score release date changed to today... Now waiting...patiently... NOOOOOOOOOO
DeleteI mean...im willing to wait another week if they'd like to upload a 180 for my score ;P
ReplyDeleteHah WORD. Too much time to think about this- I am frenetically accepting failure and a 140 and then bouncing to "But maybe I got a 170.." Curse you LSAC!
DeleteI got an email and I check it expecting scores...fucking Red Lobster ad
ReplyDeleteThere aren't enough Cheddar Bay biscuits in the world to make up for the disappointment....
DeleteOr mine- from Kaplan "Practice LSAT event blah blah"
DeleteI saw LSAT and had a panic attack. Thanks Kaplan THANKS
that keeps happening to me with groupon. I'm not amused.
DeleteAhahahaha truth, but the biscuits couldn't hurt.
DeleteGuess who just got their email? This guy
ReplyDeleteTime zone?
DeleteNo wonder people think all lawyers are a-holes...
DeleteMountain
DeleteSomeone who works at LSAC is probably eyeing this thread and posted that they got their scores just to see our heads explode
ReplyDeleteOr just some attention whore troll.
DeleteMy dad works for LSAT, he said they won't be out till tomorrow
ReplyDeletei think you mean lsac..
DeleteMy dad works for LSAC.org
DeleteMy dad is Obama. #winning #noreally
DeleteI got my September score emailed around 5:30....maybe it'll come today?!
ReplyDeleteMy icons just turned grey
ReplyDeleteI hope you get a 120
Deletethat wasnt nice
DeleteWow, out of all of us sounds like you deserve the 120 the most....
DeleteIs this a joke did they really release the scores?
ReplyDeletePretty sure someone's trolling.
Deletesmh! Come on man
DeleteI don't know, seems reasonable to me that they could be released today.
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteSeriously- still nothing. This SUCKS! Anyone credible out there have any grey yet? I would be accepting of any one of 50 shades.....
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Good one! and not yet :(
DeleteLmao I wish.
DeleteJudging by the fact that my score was emailed July 1 last year, when it was supposed to be delivered July 7, and my LSAC account says "score email date July 1" for last year and "score email date March 3" for this year...it's being released tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteIt is very common for them to be released early.
DeleteDid you not read the article above? Based on previous tests (and you can read this in any other of the test release date posts), the icons under LSAT Documents go from Green to Gray and the Score Email Date is changed when scores are about to be released. So your account probably said July 7t at one point and then changed to July 1 the day they released the scores.
Deletequestion for the commenter whose dad apparently works for lsac - if all these are untrue and the scores aren't coming out till tomorrow, why is this the second time in 10 yrs scores have not come out early for feb tests?
ReplyDeleteThe snow over the last month caused a lot of call-offs, delays, and other problems. That is at least what he told me
DeleteExactly.
DeleteDoes anyone know if they get emailed at any time of day, or usually around business hours? (As in, will I find out my score at 3am)
ReplyDeleteBased on flipping through the past couple comment boards, they have started releasing batches as late as around 7:30PM in the past. There is a chance that they come out today, but no way its that late. I still think the most likely scenario is that they are released tomorrow.
DeleteWait I'm confused. So everyone thinks the ten people who posted above were lying about scores being released today?
ReplyDeletecould be one person but multiple comments
DeleteYes, and it was probably just the same person who posted 10 times.
DeleteYes. Because we can post anonymously, it could've just been the same person (or people).
Deletestill nothing for me :( other people are getting their scores already???
ReplyDeleteNothing. I'm in Southern California. A couple people have said that they have gotten their scores on this site...but we immediately thought they were lying.
DeleteWhich makes me believe that the only way any of us are going to feel comfortable is when we get our own scores.
When it goes grey, it will for everyone. So trolls who cry wolf will be called out immediately, but if everyone starts reporting going grey, then it's for real.
DeleteGood luck everyone!
ReplyDeleteYes, good luck everyone!! we are all still waiting I guess...
ReplyDeletestill nothing here in VA, thinking others are lying as well
ReplyDeleteDC ---- nothing
ReplyDeletemy blood pressure can't take this anymore aaaaahhhh
ReplyDeleteNobody has anything. It's cruel to joke about grey.
ReplyDeleteTHE AGONY
ReplyDeleteI can't wait another day, I can't do it.
ReplyDeleteRight? I'm gonna have a hard time falling asleep tonight.
DeleteI'm having a hard time doing anything except refreshing that damn page
Deletewaiting for results has been more stressful then taking the test
ReplyDeleteNM - nothing yet
ReplyDeleteAnyone else thinking tomorrow? :( don't know if I should just go to bed early to help with the wait or continuously click for the next 6 hours.
ReplyDeleteI'm starting to think it will be tomorrow :(
DeleteI bet it is gonna be today or tomorrow ;-)

DeleteFor me just now it was simultaneous
Deletei just checked and i got my email in october regarding the september lsat at 7:40
