Good luck to everyone taking the September 2014 LSAT!
The September 2014 LSAT scores / results are scheduled to be released via email by Wednesday, October 22, 2014, so you'll have to wait for your LSAT score.
However, the scores usually come out a bit earlier than scheduled.
Let's look at the trend over the past several years (click to enlarge):
Given the general trend of releasing the scores a few days early, my guess is that LSAC will release the scores on Monday, October 20, 2014.
(Scores were likely late for the fall 2012 LSAT due to the fact that this was in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. LSAC's office was closed).
"But at what time specifically do scores come on score release days? I need to know when to constantly refresh my email / LSAC account!"
In batches over the course of several hours. Likely starting late in the day (Eastern Time).
No one knows how the batches are organized, if at all.
The batches do not seem to be organized in any of these ways:
alphabetical/regional/high-to-low scores/low-to-high scores/test center #, etc.

ReplyDeleteI had a dream last night that just consisted of me opening my email, seeing a really low score and then my dream self reminded itself it was just a dream, but then I kept getting these score emails that were really low... Can they please just release our scores?!

I got my June score at 3:24 PM central time and I believe I was lucky enough to be in the first batch.

DeleteNo reason. The longer into the day we go with everything still green on the LSAC page the greater the chance we won't see results today. Since e-mail results are at least an hour or two after icons turn grey. If icons aren't grey by 4 then I'm betting on tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteI'm going to hazard a guess and say we didn't crash the site due to refreshing... Lsac deals with this 4 times a year, number of takers trending down, technology improves year on year... I'm sure we're not the first group to regularly check for score updates

Deletewhen you handle your score release process poorly your server crashes because of load. I hope this teaches them a lesson. Why don't they just announce the day properly and send the score. It's 50K test takes at most that's not a big load for even a lousy server to handle.
